Tot Morgen (Until Tomorrow)

50x hospital uniforms are embroidered with words

The hospital AZ Sint-Blasius (Dendermonde, Belgium) wants its patients to feel cared for. They try to keep the atmosphere friendly, with elements like the different departments being indicated by colours, letters and numbers. The doctors and nurses are addressed by first name. Part of this drive is the ‘Solo Quint’ initiative, during which, it invites artists to make interventions in the hospital space.

Words in Flemish are discreetly embroidered with white and light blue thread on various different parts of the garments. The staff members of AZ Sint-Blasius then wear the uniforms.
